Terms of Use

Whatslynk creates a short link and a QR code that open a WhatsApp chat with a phone number you provide, with an optional message. Only enter numbers you are allowed to share, and only add a message you are happy for anyone who opens the link to send.

• You are responsible for the numbers, messages and names you add.
• Anyone with a link or QR code can open it. Do not create links for numbers that should stay private.
• Messages are included once in the link. A short note works best, and very long messages can make a link too long to open or scan.
• Clicks on links are counted, as described in our Privacy Policy.

• Spam, bulk or repeated unsolicited messaging, or tools that multiply messages.
• Harassment, threats, fraud, scams, or illegal content.
• Impersonating a person or brand, including through custom names.
• Custom names that mislead, or that contain reserved or offensive words.
• Trying to disrupt the service, scrape it, or get around limits.

Custom names are first come, first served, and need a verified account. We may remove or reassign a name that breaks these terms or imitates someone else. A name cannot be changed after it is created, because printed codes would stop working.

Paid plans are sold by our payment provider, Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record. Paddle takes the payment, handles sales tax and VAT, and sends the invoice. Prices are shown in US dollars before tax.

A subscription renews by itself every month or year until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account page. It then stops at the end of the period you paid for, and you keep your plan until that date. Changing plan is also done from your account page and starts at once: a higher price is charged the difference right away, and a lower one leaves a credit that is used on your next bills.

If you are not happy, ask for a refund within 14 days of a payment through our contact page and we will refund it. A refunded payment ends the plan. The full rules are in our refund policy.

Premium and Premium+ features stop when the paid period ends. Your links keep working for 14 more days. After that, only what the Free plan includes stays active: 5 links and no custom names. The other links are paused, not deleted, and turn back on if you renew. Links paused for a year are deleted. A refunded or charged-back payment ends the plan straight away.

We may disable links or accounts that break these rules, with or without notice. To report a link, see our contact page.

We work to keep links online, but the service is provided as is and may be unavailable at times. If a link is disabled, deleted, or the service is down, it will not open a chat. Printed codes depend on the link staying active.

To the extent the law allows, Whatslynk is not liable for lost messages, lost business, or damages from using or being unable to use the service.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use Whatslynk means you accept the updated terms.
