WhatsApp link with a prefilled message: examples that get replies

A prefilled message is the text that already sits in the chat box when someone opens your link. They only press send. A clear one gets more people to write, and tells you why they did.

Below are examples to copy, and a few rules for writing your own. Whatslynk puts the message in the link, and you can change it later without changing the link.

What to know

  • Orders

“Hi, I would like to order the lunch menu for today.”

  • Bookings

“Hi, I would like to book a table for 2 tomorrow at 8 pm.”

  • Support

“Hi, I need help with my order.” Add your order number with a variable on Premium.

  • Sources

“Hi, I found you on Instagram.” A different line per link shows where chats come from.

  • Prices and stock

“Hi, is the blue jacket available in size M?”

Step by step

  1. 1

    Say what the person wants

Write it in their voice, in one or two short lines.

  2. 2

    Keep it short

A short message is easier to send and to read, and very long ones can make a link harder to open.

  3. 3

Use a different message per place

One per ad, bio or poster, so you can tell them apart.

  4. 4

Add variables if you need them

On Premium, write {{name}} or {{product}} and fill the values from the link.
