Use your own domain for your WhatsApp links
A WhatsApp link on your own domain looks like go.yourbrand.com/acme instead of walink.be/acme. People see your brand in the address before they tap, and the link feels like part of your business, on a card, a menu, an ad or an email.
You connect one subdomain or domain you already own. Whatslynk adds the links to it, so nothing changes for the people who use them: the same link opens the same chat. Your links also keep working on walink.be, so anything you already printed still opens.
What you get
How it works
- 1
Choose the address
In your account, open Your own domain and type a subdomain such as go.yourbrand.com, or a bare domain if it has no website.
- 2
Add the DNS record
Copy the record shown into your domain registrar or DNS provider. It is a CNAME for a subdomain, or an A record for a bare domain. It can take a few minutes, sometimes up to a day.
- 3
Switch it on
Press Check now. When it says Connected, turn on Use my domain for my links. Links, copies and QR cards then use your domain.
Ways people use it
Businesses with a brand
A go. or chat. address on cards, menus and receipts that matches your website.
Creators and shops
An address in your bio and on your packaging that people recognise and trust.
Campaigns and print
QR codes that carry your domain, so a scan feels like your brand from the first second.
